Software and System Security Workshop (S3W)

By and large, computing systems are the driving force of the world economy in the 21st century. These ubiquitous and highly complex systems are designed to provide critical services to both individuals and nation-states. In recent years, we have seen the growth and sophistication of cyber-attacks on computing systems often exploiting software vulnerabilities and system complexities. The goal of this workshop is to explore new technologies for the detection, prevention, and analysis of security threats in software and modern operating systems and platforms. Relevant topics can include but are not limited to:

  • Software Vulnerability and Exploitation
  • Malware Analysis
  • Intrusion Detection and Prevention
  • Security of Traditional Computer Systems
  • Security in SCADA systems
  • Security in Mobile Devices
  • Security in IOT Devices
  • Cloud Security
  • Application Security
  • Bid Data Security
  • Digital Forensics
  • Memory Forensics
  • Supply Chain Attacks
